What I think I did well on was the amount of content on my summaries, each of them would vary in length but each of them had the entire chapter covered. Another thing I think I did pretty well on would be my pictures and my Arabic Writing. My arabic words were well written, and the pictures were better than what I have been drawing for the practice lately.  Something that I would change would have to be the people in the drawings, I think I could have made it more clear rather than just a person with wings to represent the angel Gabriel. Another thing that I would like to change would have to be my borders, I think I could have made it a little more creative rather than just two colors.  What I learned about Muhammad’s influences were that he had spread the word of the Islamic religion, he would spread the word of God and what he was telling him.

What kind of assesment I prefer would be chapter quizzes, I think that I learn more on that assignment. Some ways that I learn more with that assesment would be that in the chapter quizzes, it actually quizzes us on most of the things we read, but it makes us also infer on certain things. And with the projects, they are just making us use the information to write summaries and draw conclusions to what we learned.

This first trimester has been a lot of fun, but it did have it’s disappointments also. For the first time in a long time in Language Arts, I had re- learned about how to organize good yellows, reds and greens. There were certain things that I did not care for, such as the Think Marks and all of the paragraphs that would take all my energy to make, edit and revise, re-read and publishing it. Science would have to be one of my most disliked subjects now. For instance, we have had to take hundreds of notes on fossils, the Grand Canyon, erosion, weathering/ deposition and frost wedging. Theres always something to do in Science, which isn’t always fun and exciting. Social Studies would have to be my favorite core class. We have learned about the Knights, Nobles, Kings, Queens, Monarchs, Empires and Rulers, and several other things that would create about 20 other sentences. But, Math does not come up short with it’s “fun times.” Math is always fun because it was my strongest point last year, but sadly I did not make it into Pre- Algebra. There’s always some new thing that I can learn in all my classes. One thing that I would definently do differently is not procrastinate with some of my assignments, but I do think I did farely well considering my assignments and not reading…

The most interesting thing we did this week.

This week my favorite activity was the video on the ” Serf ” , we all got to watch the video and take notes on what we learned. We took notes on the daily life of a Serf, there was farmwork, children and revolts on their nobles. It was kind of funny seeing the same guy for each DVD , but it did get boring when there was the cutscenes of the narrator of the DVD. Overall it was really fun but it could have been improved by us not having to do the book work and instead doing the roleplaying game with God, the Noble, the Knights and the Serfs. It was all very fun, goodnight.
